Ruby for Lucy are almost fresh out of frocks, having played at so many different festivals and parties of late.
There was the Dorrigo Folk & Bluegrass Festival, Folk In Broke, the Illawarra Folk Festival and soon Cobargo Folk Festival (end Feb) and Nannup Music Festival (March - playing on the same bill as Darren Hanlon and Claire Bowditch, how exciting)!
Oh, and they also played at Baz Luhrmann's Mum's Wedding in December! At Baz's house, no less!!
Meanwhile, they have just been invited to perform at the Australian Film Festival Opening Night after party on the 2nd of March. There may still be some tickets left here

Agnes Kain 2011 China Tour
Agnes Kain is not a woman, but the female-male duo of Chanelle Afford and Stefan Simunic. The multi-instrumentalists from Sydney, Australia, offer modest indie pop tunes with a folky bent on their 2007 debut album, Keep Walking or Iíll Kill You. Recorded in their spare room, it features Affordís slightly quavering, high vocals, with frequent use of melodica, piano, and glockenspiel differentiating it from the standard indie guitar rock base.
